Job Overview

The ETL IICS Developer will play a critical role in our data integration and transformation efforts. They will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining ETL processes using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to ensure accurate and timely data delivery to support our business intelligence and data analytics initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• ETL Development: Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica IICS to extract data from various source systems, transform it according to business requirements, and load it into the target data store
• Data Transformation: Create complex data transformation logic to cleanse, enrich, and aggregate data as per business rules and data quality standards
• Data Integration: Integrate data from different sources, including databases, cloud services, flat files, and APIs, to provide a unified view of data across the organization
• Performance Optimization: Tune and optimize ETL processes for better performance and efficiency, ensuring minimal data processing latency
• Data Quality: Implement data quality checks and error handling procedures to maintain data accuracy and integrity throughout the ETL process
• Monitoring and Debugging: Monitor ETL jobs, diagnose issues, and troubleshoot errors in data integration processes
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes, including data mappings, data dictionaries, and process flows
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, database administrators, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that ETL processes adhere to security and compliance standards, including data privacy and GDPR regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) or other ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and transformation
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and best practices
• Snowflake knowledge is an add on
• Understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS or Azure, is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to data quality
• Experience with data integration projects in a cloud environment is a plus

Preferred Certifications:

• Informatica Certification (e.g., Informatica Certified Data Integration Developer)
